The easiest way to address your audience is with a Sennheiser Tourguide 2020-D system.

Sennheiser tourguide 2020-D is the unique guided tour system for any city or business tour ensuring that you will be heard both clearly and distinctly. Your audience will simply need to wear a wireless Tourguide receiver.

Receivers are available in two types:

SENNHEISER HDE 2020-D-II STETHOSET RECEIVER

The Stethoset is the most popular receiver for the Sennheiser tourguide 2020-D system. This headset is lightweight, comfortable to wear and built to last. This truly unique device integrates both the receiver and headphones. No longer will your audience have to carry any more equipment than is absolutely necessary and being a one piece device they will no longer risk a tangle of cables!

The powerful battery ensures that the device will work for up to 8 hours. Regardless of whether you are providing your tour in a big city, at a historic monument or a large international corporation, Sennheiser tourguide 2020-D will ensure that your tour will proceed without interruption. The stethoset receiver automatically deactivates itself the moment that it is taken off meaning battery life will be preserved. No longer will the tour guide need to check all of the sets after one tour finishes and before the next tour starts.

SENNHEISER EK 2020-D-II BODYPACK RECEIVER

This is the alternative receiver for the Sennheiser tourguide 2020-D system and has a 3.5mm jack socket for use with either-

Headphones (ideal for a noisy environment)

Earphones (lightweight for long tours) or an inductive neck loop (to assist hearing aid wearers)

The Bodypack can easily be clipped to a shirt pocket or worn on a lanyard. With a battery life of up to 16hrs this receiver will last through even the longest event!

The Stethoset and Bodypack receivers share the same easy to use controls. Your tour participants will be able to individually adjust the volume through a rotary control without the need to even take the device off. A liquid crystal display will clearly confirm the battery status, volume, channel being listened to and the quality of the reception. Channels can easily be set and adjusted by using the middle rocker switch. Six channels are available allowing up to six tours to take place simultaneously in the same venue. There is no limit to the number or type of receivers that can be used on a system.

SENNHEISER SK 2020-D BODYPACK TRANSMITTER

he bodypack transmitter allows you total freedom of movement during your tour. An integrated belt clip and two jack sockets for the microphone and line input are provided.

The microphone input allows the connection of a headband microphone, ideal for hands free use allowing you to describe an object, make a presentation and express your point. An alternative microphone is a wired handheld microphone which allows other participants in the tour to comment or ask questions.

The line input enables audio from an external device to feed the tourguide system. For example, you will be able to transmit an external audio source such as music or an audio description, from an mp3 player.

SENNHEISER SKM 2020-D HANDHELD TRANSMITTER

The handheld transmitter has an integrated microphone and is the easiest way to address your audience. Should a tour participant pose a question, just hand over the microphone and the question will be clearly heard by everybody. Interviewing an expert in front of your audience will make your tour even more interesting.
Like the bodypack transmitter, the handheld is easy to operate and highly robust. Both have a backlit Liquid Crystal Display for channel and battery status. The rechargeable battery lasts for up to 8 hours.

SENNHEISER EZL 2020-20L PORTABLE CHARGER/STORAGE CASE

The portable charger case has been designed to be highly user-friendly. It acts as both the storage case for all the equipment and the charging station for the Tourguide transmitter and receivers. Two charging bays for the transmitter (or its rechargeable battery pack) and twenty charging bays for the receivers are provided.
An impressive feature of the charging case is the Copy button. All you need to do is to set one receiver to the correct channel, press this button just once, and all of the other receivers in the case will immediately be set to the same channel. No more having to check each receiver after a tour like with the old (and now discontinued) Sennheiser Infoport Tourguide system!

SENNHEISER TOURGUIDE SYSTEMS CAN ALSO BE INSTALLED:

SENNHEISER SR 2020-D INSTALLED TRANSMITTER

The installed transmitter is ideal for multilingual applications. This compact high-tech transmitter is ideal for international conference centres and tourist attractions. It allows for conferences or presentations to be interpreted simultaneously in up to eight languages (NB When used with an L 2021 40 charger an additional 2 channels can be reprogrammed onto the receivers). The audio input can be from an interpreter's microphone, an external device such as a CD/DVD player or your IT network. Transmitters can either be free standing or mounted in a 19" rack. As with the portable transmitters, digital transmission ensures optimum reception quality with a range of up to 100 metres outdoors and 50 metres indoors.

SENNHEISER L 2021-40 FORTY-WAY RECEIVER CHARGER RACK

The forty-way charger rack can be desktop or 19” rack mounted. It holds up to 40 receivers that will automatically quick-charge to be ready for the next event. The charger rack has an Ethernet interface to allow pre-selecting the active channel for each receiver on a central PC (Up to 125 charger racks with up to 5000 receivers can be connected).
Control software is supplied which can unlock an additional 2 channels in the receivers allowing up to 8 channels to be used simultaneously (with the Sennheiser SR 2020-D transmitter only). The software also offers simple presets to select and confirm channels with just one click. Users and service staff can easily monitor which receivers at which station have been prepared for any given language or program. Configuration problems are a thing of the past!

SENNHEISER L 2020-10 TEN-WAY RECEIVER CHARGER RACK

The ten-way charger rack can be desktop or rack mounted. Multiple L 2020-10 chargers can be daisy chained.

SENNHEISER L 2015 DESKTOP CHARGER

The desktop charger has two charging docks to recharge the portable transmitter batteries.

Sennheiser tourguide 2020-D is the first system in the world to use digital RF wireless transmission in the ISM band. No longer will you have to strain your voice and shout! On the contrary, you can relax and clearly communicate with your group at normal conversation level or even whisper. It is so simple - all you need to do is to speak into a microphone and the participants of your tour will hear your voice loud and clear thanks to highly impressive receivers. Based on a digital transmission technique, the Sennheiser Tourguide 2020-D system will also ensure that every word will reach your audience without any background noise or interference. This means that they will be able to pay complete attention while you are speaking.

As the Tourguide 2020-D uses very latest digital technology, the system simply requires type certification by the manufacturer and no user licensing is required. This means that individual users will not have to register the equipment with the relevant national licensing authorities.
